Prior to law school, I attended the University of California, Riverside and received a BA in Political Science with a concentration in Law and Society.
During my time in law school so far, I have participated in various experiences assisting survivors of domestic violence in family law and immigration law matters. Most notably, my interest in family law was piqued during my summer internship at the Survivor Justice Center (formerly known as Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice). There, I was able to assist in clients' domestic violence restraining order petitions and accompany attorneys to these court hearings. I also interned at Kids in Need of Defense and Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, assisting clients with their immigration law petitions. These experiences were invaluable as I was able to learn about providing trauma-informed advocacy on behalf of clients, taught by experienced attorneys and staff.
As a Ventura County resident, I found my way to Mahdavi & Mahdavi Family Law where I will continue my legal career. I am grateful for this opportunity to serve our community and assist clients through what can often be a challenging and complex process.
